This new update is pretty cumbersome. The transition between the old and new app I found to be very clumsy. The interface on this new app isnt all bad. I just feel since I had no problem with the old one, this revamping seems a tad unnecessary. Still, I love art archives so Im still on board with this app.

I seriously love this app, I have learned a ton about art and have enjoyed viewing works from artists that Ive never heard of before. I would recommend this app to anyone who enjoys art and would like to understand it better.

My must have app. Its like having your own personal curator. I love the commentary and history lessons behind each beautiful artwork displayed every day.

It was a lovely app before this latest version. Now its awful. I dont imagine the content has changed. But the new interface is just terrible, on an iPad at least. Landscape is forced. Yet when you click the image, it does download in portrait. It should support either orientation. Also, when you switch to the already running app, and scroll right to the end, it should automatically paint the new days image. Thats what the old one did. This one does not seem to do that. Sad. Finally, when I went to send feedback, it opened up Mail to send a new message, but without populating the email address. Hope these problems can be fixed. Then it will get 5 stars. Update 2017-01-27: As of todays update, iPad orientation is still locked in as landscape. I hate this. Maybe its just me, and others wont care. At least the full image, when downloaded, is no longer forced portrait. Now the full image correctly changes orientation, automatically, depending on how you hold the iPad. But really folks, the app itself should do this. Until and unless they fix this, I wont be using this app on an iPad.

The UI is well thought out and the content well curated. I look forward to the new art work everyday.

With its latest update Daily Art continues to be one of the more unique and essential iOS applications with the additional features of enhanced searching by way of artists, museums, time periods, archives and public domains. Users can now better manage their accounts through the application as well.

Impressive changes... more lovely art in a more real way!

I just moved from old pro version here and really enjoy the new feel. The new look is more modern and elegant, and the content is still very good. Opening the app is the one of must-dos in the morning, which enlightens my day.

First, Id like to mention that this app has not only incredible pieces of art each day, u also get extensive background information, year the piece was completed, location where u can view that piece, @ an option to share w/ others. I have been incredibly pleased w/ this app. The app developer recently had an improved version of this app where all current "Pro" users needed to download the new version using a "code" w/in the now old version. For some reason, I didnt receive the "code" & anyone who didnt was prompted to e-mail the developer. I must say that her incredible prompt replies to my questions was extremely helpful in trying to resolve this issue. She not only was prompt but also very patient w/ me...treating me w/ great respect & concern. I HIGHLY appreciate this & HIGHLY recommend this app!!!

Without a doubt, this is no better art app. Interesting art is selected and displayed daily with interesting information. Had PRO version for quite a while and updated version is even better. Website support is responsive.

There are far more technical/complex apps In the App Store. However, only an app like this can illuminate your day by providing art that you would not be exposed too otherwise. If that wasnt enough, the curators offer a brief history of the artist and art. There is a reason this app is part of my personal development folder.

I like this app a lot. For me its an example of a really useful and well-done project. Besides, the support team is very responsive — they do care about user experience and overall app quality. Thank you a lot! I wish more people would discover and appreciate this app.

Lovely app that can save you from boredom and at the same time makes you learn about the artist, the painting etc.
